Three generations of people who love and cherish each other and their land have contributed to the process of planting, extracting, and bottling our CBD products.
Our goal for this process is always the same: sell directly to you, straight from our beloved Tennessee farmland. No outside distributors, harmful metals, or pesticides are used in our all-natural, farm-to-bottle process. Because your health and safety is our number one priority, every step of the way.
The Howard Farms Process
Planting
We carefully sow our seedlings into our river-lined family farmland to ensure proper growth before harvesting.
Harvesting
After 100 days of growth, we begin the harvesting process, collecting our plants from the fields.
Drying
Next, each harvested plant is then laid out for optimal drying, preparing the flower for extraction.
Extracting
After the plants have dried we pull all available nutrients from the plants through full-spectrum extraction.
Bottling
After testing each batch, we hand-blend CBD into all of our organic tinctures, edibles, and topical creams.
Enjoying
Last but not least.. Enjoyment! We grow it, we bottle it, and you use it to enjoy feeling good again.

What exactly is farm-to-bottle and why is it so important? When growing the plants for CBD, the growing process is equally important as the manufacturing process. New River Botanicals> puts a lot of love and care into our products and wants to share the benefits with you.
Family Owned
Family-owned and operated, we provide a personal, hands-on approach to our plants and our process. Our family has been on this land for three generations now and we have worked to ensure the soil quality has remained elevated to nourish the plants to provide you with high-quality ingredients. Our entire family works together to provide you with the most effective products the land can foster.

Farm to Bottle
Why is this so important? Here at New River Botanicals, we have complete control over everything, and we mean everything that goes into our products. We have farmed this land for years and are intimately familiar with every acre and parcel of our soil and its quality. We plant, harvest, dry, extract, and bottle every seed that comes out of our land, ourselves. Being that we lovingly grow our plants on our own land, you can be assured that there will never be any pesticides, herbicides, or metals in your CBD. The quality of life greatly depends on the quality of products that are used, that’s why we promise to use only the most natural ingredients.
Our Process
Our family hand-selects the seeds we plant for our products. Then we plant our seedlings into the ground and with water from New River, nourish them until it’s time for harvesting. Once the seedling is mature and ready to harvest, we then lay the plants out to dry, which prepares the flower for extraction. Then once dried, the raw hemp is put through milling, where it is ground into small pieces and creates a coarse powder. This optimizes the extraction process, which increases the surface area. From there, we process it and perform quality control on it to make sure only the highest quality plants are made in CBD. Once that has been done, we extract the CBD from the plant and refine and isolate it.
This is done to make sure there are no unwanted elements in the extract. Once we have ensured the quality of our CBD, we test it in our laboratories for purity. We are one of the few companies that hold both GMP and ISO 9001 certifications.
